The Greeley Bears Pop Warner Football Program has been providing a competitive, fun and most important safe football experience to children ages 5 to 16 in our area since the Fall of 2014.
We are an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We draw many youth, regardless of financial situation, because of the quality of our program and the overall athletic experience we promote.
We offer eleven different divisions to choose from, from the smallest of players at 5 years old; to middle school athletes at 14 years old. We offer Age only Divisions and Age/Weight Divisions. This is not the normal rec team or city team.
The Greeley Bears Football Program is based out of Greeley, Colorado. Our program is open to anyone in and around our area including but not limited to Johnstown, Milliken, Greeley, Evans, Garden City, Eaton, Ault, Windsor, Severance, Platteville, La Salle and Gilcrest.
The Greeley Bears are proud members of the Rocky Mountain Pop Warner Football League and the Southwestern Pop Warner Football Conference.
Our program strives to provide fundamental instruction in the game of football to the many that play this great game. This is accomplished through an emphasis on sportsmanship, team play, self-discipline, maximum effort, integrity and respect. We believe football is a great way to promote on and off field responsibility, good attitude and scholastic greatness.
We don't cut players, every child plays regardless of experience.
We enforce the minimum play requirement.
With that being said, there are some stipulations.
Each of the following items can/will affect your child's playing time:
Less than upstanding behavior ON and OFF the football field
Not maintaining a "C" (70%) average in school.
Lack of effort on the field
Unexcused absences (understanding our athletes cannot get themselves to practice)
Parent OR Player disrespect to a staff member of the Greeley Bears.
Year after year, the success of our program is driven by the high level of commitment and support provided by our board members, coaches, players, parents, volunteers and the rest of the community.
2021 is going to be the BEST Bears season yet!
"Football is a great deal like life in that it teaches that work, sacrifice, perseverance, competitive drive, selflessness and respect for authority is the price that each and every one of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile."
